Every Drop Counts — And We Treat It That Way.

At Gokul, we believe that water is one of the most vital resources we have. We see every drop as something worth conserving, and tackling water wastage is at the core of how we think about our work.

That mindset goes into every starter we manufacture. We design our motor starters to give you dependable, hassle-free control over your pumps — helping you prevent overflow, avoid dry runs, and manage your water use more effectively day in and day out. Our goal is to make it easy for you to do your part in conserving water, without adding complexity to your routine.

Conservation doesn’t stop at the field or the factory gate, either. Within our own manufacturing process, we continually strive to be efficient with the materials, energy, and resources we use.

We believe that meaningful change starts with mindful everyday choices. By building reliable equipment and running our operations responsibly, we are doing our part to protect and conserve what matters most — for our customers, our communities, and the future.

You can take small steps for the future

  • Set Dry-Run Cutoff: Running a pump without water burns electricity and damages the motor. Make sure your starter is set to switch off automatically the second water runs out.

  • Add a Water Level Switch: Connect your starter to a simple tank float switch. It shuts the pump off automatically when the tank is full, stopping water and power from going to waste.

  • Tighten Wires Regularly: Loose wire screws inside the starter box cause heat and waste electricity. Give the screws a quick check and tighten them every few months.

  • Match the Current Setting: Set the starter’s safety switch to match your motor’s exact rating. Setting it too high lets the motor run under stress and waste energy without you knowing.

Everyday Tips to Save Water and Power

  • Pump in the Morning or Evening: Running water in the hot afternoon sun leads to quick evaporation. Pumping during cooler hours means your plants or soil get more water in less time.

  • Fix Leaks and Avoid Sharp Pipe Bends: Small leaks waste hundreds of liters, and sharp corners in pipes make the motor work twice as hard. Smooth bends and tight joints let water flow freely with less strain on the pump.

  • Use a Good Foot Valve: A cheap or blocked foot valve chokes the water flow. A smooth, clean valve helps the pump pull water quickly, filling your tank faster and saving power.

  • Time Your Pump: Don’t guess when your tank is full. Keep track of how many minutes it takes to fill so you can switch off on time instead of letting clean water spill into the drain.
